What makes a circle t tour putter?
Scotty Cameron was able to come on the Scene around 1991 making putters for Tour Players. Back then he would stamp the putters SCOTT CAMERON. It wasnt until the Mid 1990s when Scotty started using the famed Circle T Stamp. Circle T Tour putters come in a variety of different ways. Finishes, Stamping, Models, Hand work, Welding etc are what make these putters different than any other putter in the world today.
GSS Putters
German Stainless Steel is the material used in a GSS putter. Its made from the Highest Quality Stainless in the world. Its the Flagship Tour Putter offered by Scotty. Tiger Woods has played it since 1998 and has won 14 out of his 15 majors with GSS.
Super Rat Putters
Super Rat putters are made in many different variety of finishes, necks and alignment aids. They are very similar to a 009 head shape. You will see these come with a GSS inlay that is very soft feeling and great sound feedback.
Newport 2 Putters
Newport 2/Timeless is a headshape that is typically more squared off. You will see the bumpers and look are more sharp and little bigger looking to the eye. Tiger woods uses a Newport 2 style putter
